“Un pezzo di marmo. Alto, eretto ed estraneo alle rovine della sinagoga e al luogo dell’antica Ostia. Girando intorno, si scopre che i cilindri sono stati trapanati nella profondità del pezzo. Sono stati rimossi e adagiati sul terreno. 11 pali/pilastri di contenuto-massa sono stati consumati, svuotati. Segni di autoconsunzione, un sacrificio che ha consentito il viaggio della forma. La pista segnata da questi cilindri funzionanti/funzionali imita l’antica tecnica di trasporto di elementi e materiali architettonici pesanti evocando così una lunga allegoria perduta” (Landau)
